Inholborn Walks Off to a Champagne Start!

Our first walk of the season is a winner

It was a special walk to start the season: The contestants had to guess the age of 10 buildings in Holborn.
The winner was Angela Wilks from Cancer Research Technology in Sardinia Street. Angela’s triumphead by correctly answering three of our tough questions – the age of Holborn Station, 57-58 Lincoln’s Inn Fields and First Avenue House on High Holborn.
Angela wins a bottle of champagne courtesy of inholborn. Speaking about Friday’s quiz she said, "I never thought I would win. I really enjoyed the quiz, and it is great to get out of the office and learn something. I hope to come on the next walk on Friday too”.
The participants were given the opportunity to evaluate the walk. Of those that did 93% rated the walk as either ‘good’ or ‘very good’, and 64% rated it as ‘very good’.
The next inholborn walk is this Friday, 2nd May, starting at 1.00pm by the Ranger kiosk outside Holborn Station. The walk will be a guided tour of some of the statues and monuments in the area. All our walks are free of charge.
