The service comprises radio handsets (one per business) and a full-time managed intelligence gathering and distribution unit to monitor, interpret and circulate the data gathered.

About the scheme:
The 24hour radio handset link package we are providing is backed with an impressive set of extra features – all vital to businesses who want to defend themselves against illegal activity.
Participating businesses will each receive –

• Business crime co-ordination – a staffed project with a full-time co-ordinator.
• A radio handset and charging station providing:
• Link to each other – the more eyes on the street the safer we all are
• Link to Holborn Police Safer Neighbourhood Team – local police support
• Link to Holborn Police Community Support Officers – direct action when and where you need it
• Link from Camden Emergency Planning Team – secure communications in the event of emergency
• Training in the use of the handset – we’ll show you how and what to do
• Partnership report – news and crime reduction information
• Key statistical report – 15 key stats, designed to help you spot offenders
• Offender Target file – photos and descriptions of local known offenders
• Window sticker - lets everyone know you’re part of Holborn Businesswatch

This service is normally £350.00 a year, but we will provide you with a year’s use completely free, so you can try it out and see the difference.
