Sunday June 1st is Camden Greenfair and Bikefest

The Camden Greenfair & Bikefest (http://www.camdengreenfair.org.uk/) on Sunday 01 June 2008 will be the largest free green event in the country, and is expected to attract around 30,000 visitors. It is a great day out in Regent’s Park, organised by a local charity to raise awareness of green issues and to promote community action on issues such as climate change. There are a number of ways that your business can get involved:

• Promote the event to your employees, families and friends – we can promise you a fantastic FREE day out.
• Sponsorship - the charity receives support from many businesses and organisations including Trek Bikes, Camden Council, the Co-op and Legal & General, and we are currently seeking modest donations from another 20 businesses to help fund this year’s event. In return for your £500 cash or in-kind donation to join the 500 Club we can offer you a free stall, giving you the opportunity to talk face-to-face with the community about the green credentials and performance of your products and services. We will also include your company details on our supporters’ page on the website.
• Staff volunteering – the fair would not be successful without the hard work of all the volunteers to help set up and help steward on the day. If you organisation can provide a team of volunteers or any committed individuals we would love to hear from you – volunteers@camdengreenfair.org.uk
