Walk group in Sicilian Avenue

Holborn is the place to be!

inholborn walks become even more popular

On Saturday 5th July, 85 people turned out to go on our Holborn: then and now walk. This walk was an official part of the London Festival of Architecture, and our Guide took a huge crowd of people on a two hour tour of a dozen buildings in Holborn representing contrasting styles of architecture from each of the last four centuries. This was our first walk on a Saturday, so the response was amazing. Special thanks should go to local architect Mary Thum for her expert advice in the preparation of this walk and her input on the day.

On Friday 04 July, 55 people came on our tour of the Foundling Museum and the Coram organisation. This walk heard about the history of the first institution in England to care for abandoned children. Inholborn would like to thank the Foundling Museum for providing free admission and a free guided tour.

All our walks are free and you don’t need to book. For the full schedule please visit our the walks section.
