New project underway to tackle anti social cycling

Over 4 days in June, Police Officers were placed at key junctions in Holborn and stopped 200 cyclists for anti social cycling; of which 160 were cautioned and 40 were issued with a fine.

 

This project was instigated in partnership with the Holborn Police Safer Neighbourhood Team, as a result of numerous complaints on a weekly basis from local business employees; and several accidents involving cyclists and pedestrians in the Holborn area.
